First of all i want to thanks the mod's authors! I've got the game just a week ago and modded it to 3rd age immediatly... IT'S GREAT! I've read countless times TLOTR, TH, Silmarillion and the countless book about middle earth and couldn't really miss this mod!
i was just willing to point out a couple of things i noticed during my gameplay.... (i'm on my first playthrough on eriador BTW)
Well i have to disagree on Eriador's settlements... Fornost is a small feeble castle and is not the capital?Micheal Delving a bigger town than Tharbad?
Tharbad was one of the biggest town's in the ME, and a major center in eriador... Also i've found out that some city seems that can't grow in any way from the feeble village status, or you can't build there like in tharbad... are this bugs?
I tought that maybe the nerfing of the cities in eriador was due to it having being too powerful assets at the beginning... If so it might be an idea to split it in the 3 regions that where subsequently crashed, Artedain, cardolan and rudhaur... this would create some extra action in the area and solve the coherence problem.
While i'm a Tolkien expert, i'm not a TW expert, but i have to say that uruk-hai really kicks *ssThey could kill easily my eriadors troops even in a ration of 3:1 but i guess it's fine this way. I also noticed that hobbits, when they deplete arrows can attack with knifes, and they are REALLY good at that! (maybe because they were "fresher" than any other unit?)
I'll end with an idea; why not giving to the owner castles/places with palantirs in a "visibility" bonus on the map? that would be really interesting!
Beside that i really like everything from the phrases while loading to the great 3d models, music ecc ecc... you guys made a wondeful work!
I'll keep playing and posting any weirdness or "historical" errors i run into.
karsten
