    Default Loading Saved Games Produces CTD - HELP!

    I was playing Road to Independence for awhile, then in August 2009 stopped playing until now. Wanted to resume. Game patched since then. All of the sudden, I can start a new game, no problem but I cant load any of my saved games.

    I am on Windows Vista, 64bit, I7-920 Intel (Quad Core 2.7GHZ) , Nvidia GTX 260, 9GB Ram.

    You can't use your saved games after the patches as they are incompatible. You will have to start a new campaign.

    Thanks but Serious?? are all patches always incompatible or just the ones since August 2009? I never had a problem before...?

    Every new patch ruins every save made before it. It's been that way since Medieval1, that I know of for sure.
