I am enjoying my Georgian campaign so far. The only complaint I have is that the Mongols arrived shortly after 1080![]()

For some reason I still get a CTD just before the campaign loads.![]()
1105 and no CTDs yet. I started with a clean install of PDER1.0a, copied the data folder and two text files and all has been well so far.
The version I have is PDER 1.0A. Before I installed the submod I reinstalled MTW kingdoms, then added PDER 1.0A. I also tested the original mod before installing the sub mod and it worked just fine. I'm not sure what the problem is.
Good to hear (read) that. I edited time when Mongols came because invasion date is around 1220-1230 AD and that is some 300 turns. That is to much to play, and till then You can build an empire, and an army so vast that Mongol invasion is scary as mosquito to elephant. My idea is that Mongols should invade early for game play sake.
If You don't like the idea, You could make simple change in descr_events by changing date of mongol invasion from 10 to 150 and save that file

Yes, Doukas faction is represented in family tree with Michael Doukas, heir to the throne, Andronikos, notorious traitor an Manzikert, Ioannes Doukas, kaisar, and several female characters as princesses. By the way, Romanos Diogenes is curently Basileos.
About the raids, Turks are almost as horde, and You will find that Pechenegues are serious danger to european part of Empire.
Considering how to import other units in Your future sub mod, You could find it in Mod Workshop.
By the way, did You try my sub mod?

Yes have been reading workshop ,its a little confusing ,well to me ,the most i'v ever done is looked in desc_strat ,but i intend to change that .I must confess i have only just downloaded the whole game ,it was then i noticed the vanilla Romans .Having said that as i just pointed out I cannot mod ,so to me that doesn't entitle me to critise somebody elses work ,only to give my opinions .Cut a long story short ,No i haven't played your sub-mod yet ,it sounded great it was the reason i downloaded the PDER mod ,but vanilla have put me off.
If You will play Romans, You will have NO time to notice units!!!
Roman units are very expencive in my sub mod, so you will have to rely on even mercenaries or AOR units, and that is historically acurate, don't You agree?
I am curently working on fixing some strange CTDs wich are present on some machines, but my plan is to release another sub mod, wich will start in 1204. AD, just after the fall of Konstantinoupolis. Maybe I will add some new units in that sub mod. That is, of course, if PDER II won't be released.
Here is the log and yes I'm still excited to try out your sub mod. PDER is currently one of my favorite mods and I am a big supporter of Byzantium. We'll figure this out.![]()

Chivalry II has interesting Roman units, and some of them are from CBUR. I've played this very very good mod. But AI is not so challenging as in PDER. Also the map is not so good as in PDER. Units are better. Maybe some hybrid mod will be exelent?!![]()
Well what i was thinking was adding some units of CBUR the Skoutatoi sword and spear ,Castophilakae and Pronoirii etc ,some of the Seljuk rosta from Chiv II and The Serbs and Bulgarians ,but its all way beyond me ,I'v been experimenting all dayLOOK i'v even messed up my signiture
Yes to all that sounds good .In the mean time I shall try to get the CBUR files and learn how to get them in game (an all purpose installer would be a God send)As i mentioned earlier i haven't played yet are the Serbs and Bulgar /Vlachs represented ?
