Friendly Fire?
Is there any way to turn off friendly fire? The reason is I usually play as the romans and my legionaries kill each other with pila all the time. Ex. 1 unit is sorely pressed and I send in another unit to help they get way to close then throw their pila and half of those pila hit their own men. So how do I turn it off?

Re: Friendly Fire?
As far as my 'limited' Roman mind can tell, only way to minimize friendly fire is to avoid close-fire-targeting. Unless of course there is a mod out there...

Re: Friendly Fire?
When attacking use the 'Alt' button. That enable melee combat only. that will reduce the amount of friendly fire taken.

Re: Friendly Fire?
yes, alt button is a very good solution. you can close "fire at will" before attach and later attacked with alt button

Re: Friendly Fire?
As everyone else has said "Alt" attack is the easiest way to avoid friendly fire.
There isn't a mod out there which disables it that I know of, and I'm not even sure if it's possible to do so.

Re: Friendly Fire?
if you did take it off it would make tactics for the romans to easy.

Re: Friendly Fire?
Aye it would make it bit on the easy side for any faction that has units which use a missile before charging.
Just got to remember to use that Alt button!

Re: Friendly Fire?
I think turning on arcade battles turns off friendly fire.
