I was wondering are there any other fans out there of Jericho? It's still my all time favorite tv show and i bet there's another one of me out there. In the (unfortunate) event you don't know it, Jericho follows the town of Jericho after the United States falls apart following nuncler attacks and the resulting power struggle and discovering who did it.

Here's the official website for it http://www.cbs.com/primetime/jericho/ seems a little unkept though. It was canceled after the end of the 2nd season on a cliff hanger for some stupid reason.
In case you are a fan what your thoughts on the future?
If you haven't seen it before, watch it- it's the greatest show ever. Not one of those retarded reality shows and on now, but rather one that makes you think.

Well I was so disappointed when it was cancelled...I don't get why shows like Jericho or Firefly get canceled while others much more inferior just keep going and going, recycling their already pointless storylines where everybody s everyone and somehow remain friends afterwards.

It's my opinion that when it was on it was the best among tv shows. I was kind of baffled that it was canceled, twice! Such a smart and unique tv show...

Nope. I always thought it was a conspiracy. Bush didnt like the anti republicanism in the show so cheney influenced the execs to cancel the show.

I was pissed they canceled the show. The execs were so ing stupid. I was hoping the show move to Sci Fi but I dont think the reruns garnered enough attention to warrant a move. I also thought there would be a movie or mini series in the works.

I watched the series but it got a bit ridiculous at times. Instead of constantly facing the challenges of dwindling resources and outside raiding forces, they somehow find a way to sustain the town even "finding" everything they need.

There were alot of good themes, but I think the show needed a reality check at times.

I agree with you, but it was still an awesome show.

They got lucky and found a train full of food. The writers should have done a better job at showing how they survived daily, yet when you look at it for what it is worth there are not many other shows that deal with this genre.

exactly, it was a good show and I think given some time they could have developed the show into a more plausible environment in a post apocalyptic world.

My qualm was merely that every time they started to approach the problems of life without an organized society( security, supplies, etc) they would create a plot device to get themselves out of their bind...they would "cheat" to say the least.

I think the most interesting part of the show was the development of wars between townships, and the fractured nature of trying to rebuild a nation ( IE the civil war that would result).

Yeah I actually liked the war with (forgot what the city was). Then when the reformed american army arrives it completely changes the future of the show. Its as if they could of gone down so many other plot paths but they choose to go down that one. Which basically ends the isolation feel of the series.

It wasn't a well-scripted or acted show but the premise was innovative and gripping. Shame the plug got pulled.

I loved it, the idea of post-apocalyptic societies and conspiracies always intrigued me. I really don't understand why the show was cancelled.
