Messed up looking units. Is it just me?

Could anybody who has Warpath installed do a quick favor me? Just start up a custom game with late tech, using a native faction (doesn't matter which one) using the default army setup and let me know if you see the same results as the attached picture.

In my game the Warriors, Bowmen and Musketmen all look like blocks (or vanish entirely) from a distance (they look fine when I zoom in). Those three units only, every other unit in the game looks fine. I just want to know if it's a bug in the game or something wrong with my system or something else?

On-board sound
Radeon 4830 HD
I was originally using the the 9.12 Catalysts but I reverted back to 9.6 (supposedly the last 'good' ATI drivers for ETW) via a clean uninstall using Driver Cleaner but no change.

Every unit does this for me.

They all disappear when I zoom out even a little.
