Kingdom of Sicily destroyed

always in every campaign (if i m not Sicily) after about 5-10 turns i get message that Sicily is destroyed
and i checked, Palermo gets to be rebel, so nobody conquers them
i think that is because theyre family members al die in fights against either pope(which is more likely as he attacks napoli and Bari) or against Byzantnes (less likely)

Sicily uses the 'teutonic' family tree and I have received several reports that factions that use this family tree are destroyed when their faction leader dies. Are you using the 1.3 or 1.5 version of Kingdoms?
