Hey everyone I know this started off as Pergamum campaign but I just realized that I have had enough of this faction, it has become as overplayed as Rome to me so I am changing this to Gaul. I have just started and will post more as I go on. It’s still H/H, 0 turn recruitment, no force diplomacy
. This is my second time playing this faction so any tips, advice and suggestions on the advancement of the campaign are more than welcome. I am only going to post things that deserve your attention instead of a description of every turn to keep this interesting. I 'll try to describe things the best I can but please have patience as this is my first AAR!
OK so the story so far is this: I began to chase the rebels out of Gaul and taking what is rightfully mine. First Narbo Martius.
First Battle played out well. I hid my infantry in the woods and used the cavalry as bait for the enemy troops. It worked well, I hoped for a better result to be hones but its a win.
Second Battle by the town of Lemonum. General Matugenus and his forces were attacked by the rebel army. General valiantly used himself as a bait for the larger force while Gallic swordsmen waited in the woods nearby. The battle was won and Lemonum taken.
General Dejotarus and his army got caught by the rebel force and suffered a defeat. General himself survived but the losses were terrible.
By the year 478AUC Geneva and Masilia were also captured. I have also begun my invasion of the British isles.
Heroic battle took place in the wild lands of Britania. Vindex Of Axona faced 2459 blue skined Barbarians. Their gibberish words, wrotten smiles and wild cries are not so different from our own but their nerve does not hold! Our women could have won this battle. HA! Coward Dogs!
