Proposal: Swapping pre-order unique units?

Gents, this may sound a bit daft, so my apologies.

Whilst searching the NTW versions, I noticed the steam imperial edition lacked a unit pack that the other sites that sold ntw included. So I ordered the play.com version of empire total war imperial edition, as it came with that extra unit pack not included in the steam version. All well and good, the unique pre-order unit is the Towarczy lancers. I was wondering though, if anyone has preordered NTW on steam, and felt relative indifference to the unique unit included by preordering (Scots Greys), if they'd be interested in swapping their unique unit activation code for my own one?

In effect, it'd be swapping access to the Towarczy Lancers (Prussia) unit for the Scots Greys unit (Britain). I know of course it's one unit, and if i wait long enough they'll release it anyway so I may as well wait and yes I have considered that and do to an extent agree with that attitude. I'm quite prepared to wait and all. But at the same time, if someone really doesn't mind which unit they'd recieve, I thought I'd ask on the off chance anyway.

Would anyone be interested in this proposal? Either way, many thanks for taking the time to hear this out. Cheers!

Good idea, I wouldn't mind swapping my Grand Battery of the Convention unit code for some Scots Greys either.

im sorry if people pre-order the NTW on Steam with that Scots Greys they wont get the activation code because Steam will do it for them

im presuming each code will only work once
otherwise everyone will be able to get every unit

i was thinking more in the terms of being able to use the same code a couple of times so we could all share every pre-order unit

I'm guessing CA will release the the pre order units on steam at a later date anyways, just like ETW.

Yes I had meant swap codes before using it!
And also, no doubt CA will at a later date, I was just hoping to get the scots greys earlier, in exchange for the Towarczy Lancers . Hmm. Well, if they do send a code with steam, would there be any takers? If they don't, never mind and thank you for the replies, guys!
