according to this page tolkien hated total war:

so why make a total war mod about one of tolkiens works

You're right, it's insanity. I'm going to go right now and delete all the computer game files I have based on this ficticous world in case I accidentally recreate something in a virtual fantasy realm which its creator didn't agree with the concept of in the real world.

okay, to be honest "Total War" is not the best name imaginable,
because of the reference to the "Third Reich" and WW2.

but this mod does not have anything to do with such happenings.
so, we understand you comment as sarcastic and leave it this way.
