CTD After First loading Screen

Okay this is driving me nuts
I've use Windows Vista with Medieval 2 Gold Edition (That includes Kingdoms), and my system specs blow this games requirements out of the water.

I followed the instructions of installing 1.01, then the sound patch, then the 1.01 translation, then the 1.02 patch, then the 1.02 Hotfix and finally the version 1.02 translation all into my empty Teutonic folder. I click on the Warhammer.bat file, it shows me the loading screen, and then it CRASHES TO THE DESKTOP!!!!

I've reinstalled Medieval 2 and kingdoms twice now as well as going through the process of installing all of the mod files and still the same result every time. I really want to play this wonderful mod, I've been excited for ages about it. PLEASE please someone tell me what I'm doing wrong and how can I fix it.

First of all, Welcome to the forums Cultward! If you ever have any questions, don't be afraid to ask.

And for your installation problem, did you make sure that you set the installers to go to your main Medieval 2 directory (C:\Program Files (x86)\SEGA\Medieval II Total War)? Do not set the directory anywhere else other than where your kingdoms.exe is. Do not set it to install to the teutonic folder.
