Installing on gold edition

I have gold edition of metw2 what is the latest patch i need? and what are the intallation instructions the same?

I have the Gold Edition as well, and there's no need for any patches, since the game already has the latest one.

Just follow their install instruction at their download thread and the mod will work perfectly.

wrong the gold edition has M2TW patched to the latest one while it doesn't for Kingdoms. You will have to download the latest patch for Kingdoms.

P.S You may notice semicolons ';' in my post; I have been tasked with using them as much as possible with correct English.

Gold edition actually is version 1.04 (mine is at least), so there is still patch 1.05.
Granted you do not need it to play this game (I had no problems yet), but if you want to install the Cinematic-editor or a mod that does need patch 1.05 you're in trouble.
If you do want the patch, be very carefull to get the right one, it should be the patch for the area stated in your exe file's properties (UK, EU, german etc).

And even if you are sure you got the right version it still might not work.
I for instance have a german version of gold but my exe file is stated in the properties as being a UK version.
I've tried the UK patch, but it will not even install, stating I need the german version, I've also tried the german version, which does install but it gives me a 'please insert original disk' message.

The point was not to post in threads when you don't know and let the people that do know handle it. Sorry Gold is patch 1.4, as pointed out; however I did know it wasn't 1.5

In Canada, it is favour. I believe that's true in England as well. Don't be such a tit.

Really? Well, I haven't encountered any problems, so I don't think it really matters.

I try for 15 mins is wonderful game . after I had the bright idea to install the English translation , bing bang booum game over install & uninstall my direct drive folders again again and again but .......... teutonic dont want to work error blah blah blah .I'm poor but I'm going to tighten their belts a bit (lose my job) and go buy medieval2 gold edition ............... doh my dvd pionner rw don't see my dvd medieval 2 ,Now I just have to wait 2-3 months for a new dvd .
