I tried everything...please help

So i installed stainless steel using the sticky thread "Get Stainless Steel 6.2 here" and click on this link

Download, thanks to Bane_TW
Full 6.0->6.2 installer (6.1+6.2+6.2mini-patch)
Full up to date installer for SS 6.0

thinking that would install the entire thing for me? i installed it and nothing happened and there was no game. am i missing something? i feel like an idiot. please just tell me how to get the most up to date mod. i have rapidshare and rinrar or whatever. please help thanks. sorry for being dumb just really wanna play stainless steel lol

Simple problem.
If you downloaded what I think you did. Then you downloaded patch 6.1 and 6.2
Both of those patches go on top of the actual game. (Currently in 6.0)

As for the patches, 6.1 download link is also on that page.
6.2 is more optional, the link for that download is here: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=302184
So.
6.0 is what you need to play. Download this first.
6.1 and 6.2 are the patches, they improve the game (less bugs etc.) Download them in any order. (Using the patch download you said you used, download base 6.0, then that, and it'll be up-to-date with 6.2)
Did I make that clear enough?

thanks man really appretiate it. yeah i have a few other mods (KGCM and broken cresent) but i wanna do this one lol. so one last question. on the first link you gave me "This thread: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=159996 will show you where to download 6.0" do i download everyone of the links under part one and part two? because they say like part one.part one part one.part two. do i download everyone?
