    My game crashes at the end of the rebel turn (appr. turn 60). Here's the last lines of my log:

    Might the CTD have to do with either the "minor_win" or an error in the dark_elf_generals/004.tga or the mentioned adoption?

    I also had some CTDs with the same ending, but the problem was always something else, usually found somewhere in the last 150 lines. Can you please post your entire log file to let us have a look at that? (either in 7zip or rar)

    Doing what you told me, I tried to reproduce the CTD - and well, after having experienced it a couple of times yesterday, I cannot do so today. Which is pretty bad, because it makes me look like a stupid , but also pretty good, because I can continue dominating...bringing happiness to the world...
    Thanks anyway for trying to help; I fear that I might get back to this when it happens again.

    It's OK, sometimes this happens. But if this comes up again, just open your logs folder in Medieval II and upload your log file here to check.

    And it doesn't make you look like an idiot, this has already happened to all of us, I think.

    It's version 1.03 you're playing with, right? If so, then please attach your script.txt also as there are some differences in lines between mine and yours (based on your log).

    Can you tell me the exact turn number also?

    Yep, it's 1.03; turn 67.
    I assume you're talking about the campaign_script, right? (There are actually nine of them, uploading the most recent one.)

    I'm sorry guys, I give up, I can't find any big errors in there. For me, it seems like the important thing happening during the slaves' turn is:

    Kislev is having a spawned army (with a new faction leader? Strange for me. A spawning general becomes faction leader immediately... ?) and is sieging Kislev, with auto_win cheat. It seems like Kislev is occupied by the High Elves and they are destroyed with this loss. (confusing for me as Kislev is allied with the High Elves, aren't they?). Last thing before closing the turn is that High Elves are destroyed. Maybe something weird with that? Check with toggle_fow please that who is holding Kislev at the moment (before CTD).


    But there seems to be no problem with these scripts, these work well for me.

    There is no scripted event at the end of turn 67 or beginning turn 68. There must be something within I haven't noticed. As I have no good idea any longer, I can only guess later on.... Checked the Dark Elf scripts also, but found nothing useful now. Maybe a more skilled scripter can easily find the solution, but I really have no idea at the moment.

    I'm really sorry I couldn't help you.

    EDIT: only thing in my mind now: are you using translation for 1.03? Maybe this is relating to that also (idea is based upon the faction destroyed thing, but I see no refer to text files in your log), but this is still an idea only...

    Yeah, Bela, there are weird things happening around Kislev. At the beginning of the turn 67, which will end in a CTD, Kislev is held by Kislev. During the other factions turns - but before the rebel turn - Kislev suddenly changes hands from Kislev to Rebels. During the Rebels turn, a Kislevite General standing not far from Kislev sieges the city, goes rebel and crashes the game - poor sucker.
    I'm using 1.03 translation, yes.

    On a sidenote: I moved on to 1.031 (in translation) and the game crashes at exactly the same turn, no. 67.

    delete your map.rwn start new Kislev campaign and use this script. The problem happened in the kislev aide script then kislev lose its capital spawn 2 armies and siege and attack kislev city.

    I have thesame bug but with Sylvania, at the rebel turn suddenly the game crashes. Is there any way to keep playing that campaign? or do you have to start all over again?
