Hello,
I have Rome: Total War Gold edition and the screen resolution options for both the battle and campaign mode cannot allow me to go higher then 1028x768. How do I fix this? My screen size is 1600x1200.
Thanks

i don't think the graphics can get that good
But 1024x768 is definitely not the upper limit.
I too reckonn having seen higher resolutions not available but i can't remember under
which circumstances this has happened.
I need to play around with the settings to figure out what caused it but i ain't got time left for
a few days now to get to my gaming pc.
Try playing around yourself with some of the other settings (e.g: army size not on huge or other stuff not on very high etc.).
When then the option for higher resolution shows up change it to your wish and leave the setup
to keep that. Then reenter options and change the other stuff back up again.

It might not be detecting your graphics hardware correctly and thus defaults to a failsafe of only letting you use low settings. Make sure drivers are installed.

Hi there.
There is an option, in the option menu under Video, that says "Widescreen". That ought to do the trick for you.
