Trouble installing 6.1 patch

Note that I am not computer savvy so I am probably doing something wrong.

I downloaded 6.0 parts 1 and 2 into the Medieval II folder and installed them. I downloaded the 6.1 zip and when I try to extract it (using winrar) to the Medieval II folder, I get this message:

! C:\Users\user1\AppData\Local\Temp\Stainless_Steel_6.1_Patch.rar: Cannot create Stainless_Steel_6.1_Patch.exe
! Access is denied.
! C:\Users\user1\AppData\Local\Temp\Stainless_Steel_6.1_Patch.rar: No files to extract
