Actually I think Austria is protecting Denmark from the british invasion.

Mecklenburg! (I think)

Ahh, so there we have the full GC map. Covers about as much as RTW did, minus some land off north africa, plus a lot of detail.

The size of Jutland, compared to Empire, is pretty telling in terms of scale

They must be punished for harbouring George III, deposed after the loss of the 13 Colonies.

Ahh, so there we have the full GC map. Covers about as much as RTW did, minus some land off north africa, plus a lot of detail. There seems to be a lot of space between settlements, so hopefully we'll see much fewer fort assaults (which are quite broken in this engine). I like it.

For that second pic, all I can say is, DUDE.....

Clearly. It was the English Republican flag in 1653-8.

Ah, the second one looks very pretty. I see artillery fortifications are very similar to what we have in ETW.

Brits turned republican and conquering half the known world. Ironic, in a game called "napoleon: total war", huh?


Also... it seems switzerland is no longer a black hole in the middle of europe..? nice.

Nice to see that taking france requires more than one assault on paris, but taking a fair few provinces.

It seems there are only 10 ships in a fleet ??

I'll be especially annoyed if the AI turns out to suck after seeing how utterly fantastic the presentation is.

But yea, NTW's presentation seems to be top-notch in every aspect. Even if there was no AI in the game (I'm not referring to any controversial past verbal exchange here), it'd be a wonderful map and unit showcase, if nothing else.
