Did diplomatic AI change?

Hi, I'm playing as Rohan now and some weird things happened. Especially diplomatic AI. Diplomats are now more 'alive'. In turn 3 Isengard offered me trade rights. Ok, i accepted

Then came OoTMM and they offered me an alliance! I was like WTF? I refused. And then Morod and Harad offered me alliances! I refused too, i didnt want to be involved with the bad guys

Diplomtic relations are much more active between AIs. In turn 120 Dale had alliances with Dwarves, SE, HE and me. HE had alliance with SE, Eriador, Dwarves, Gondor, Dale and me. Eriador with HE, SE, Dwarves and me. SE with Dwarves, Dale, HE and me.
this has never happened before. Is it because of the patcj 1.4?

Another weird thing is about invasions. In turn 76 Sauron called an invasion on Edoras (quite late, isnt it?). Everyone joined except Isengard!

I still was at peace with them. At last i declared war at them in turn 120

.
And i play RR/RC (maybe it is because of this)

Did the "ask question here thread" dissapear ?

I haven't had the evil factions offerign me alliances, trade rights yes, but never alliances, so i don'T really know if this is due to 1.4 or RR/RC

In my current vanilla campaign as Rhun Sauron didn't call the invasion on Edoras until turn 53 which I thought was quite late but wow 76

.

I guess I found it strange because in all my earlier campaigns including my 1.4 and RR/RC campaigns Sauron always called the invasion between turns 13-20.

Sauron spawns at round 40 so before that turn you can't have invasions.
RR/RC includes the good vs evil submod which I think is responsible for more alliances between the good factions though I've never got alliance offers from evil factions when I was playing a good one.

I never received alliance offers from evil factions as a good faction and vica versa (in vanilla that is). As for good factions making alliances which each other (same for the evil ones); it is quit common. I am not sure if there are changes in the diplomacy for RR/RC, but it is probably the case.
