Favourite Pink Floyd album

Specifically, studio albums from the Waters era. Preferably one, but no more than two please, if you can't decide (like me).


EDIT: Of the post-Dark Side albums.

I am interested in which of these 5 in particular people like.

What happened to Meddle! what happened to Obscured by clouds, Zabriskie Point, More, A saucerful of secrets?

I like Animals and Dark Side the most, also The Final Cut. Dislike The Wall. Wish You Were Here is average.

I'm not voting until those albums I listed are on the poll, it's an incomplete list.

No Piper at the Gates of Dawn . That makes me sad

Way to omit some of the best Pink Floyd albums: Piper at the Gates of Dawn, Atom Heart Mother, Meddle

For me it goes Animals, Wish You Were Here, Piper at the Gates of Dawn, Dark Side of the Moon, Atom Heart Mother, Meddle, the Wall.

Though the intervals between the albums are minuscule until you get past Meddle.

Where is my Saucer Full of Secrets?

Why ignore the pre-darkside albums? Why? Some of my favourite songs are on those albums.

But as an album, Darkside. It's faultless.

Unless the poll has all 11 Albums fulfilling the "Specifically, studio albums from the Waters era" criteria you should change it to 'which of my arbitrarily pruned list of discs do you also like'. You got less than 50% of them. Hehehehe.

I'm not voting. Meddle, Saucerful Of Secrets and Obscured By Clouds are all 'Waters era' and I think they are better than what you decided to list.

But I like the Syd Barrett stuff the most.

Animals is my personal favourite but it's close between that and Wish You Were Here.
