Is there going to be a grand campaign? Or just the episodic campaigns(coalition, egypt, italian)?

I just read the new preview, and when they mentioned playable factions they only mentioned the factions in those three campaigns, which means no playing as France/Napoleon in a grand campaign setting.

I'm sorry if this question has been answered, but I really hope I get to play as France in a grand campaign setting.

I can't imagine you can't play as France, (it's like a France total war, thisgame!), I think the others factions are precised because they are not obvious, France is obvious. Don't worry...

Well, only being able to play as France in the Egypt and Italian campaigns and not in the larger campaign is essentially the same thing, not being able to play as France when the big picture is involved.

I'm sure we can play as France too, I'm just not sure why the didn't specify when they listed the playable factions...

The "Grand Campaign" looks like it goes under the title "Mastery of Europe" as France, and "Campaigns of the Coalition" as the other playables.

This. There's Italy, Egypt, and then the full European campaign which is the GC of NTW.

Mastery of Europe is the grand campaign. It takes place from the late 1700s to 1812 I think.

It's like not getting to play as Rome in Rome: Total War!!!!!!

That was the preview, which implied France was playable in only two of the campaigns and mentioned only the Coalition Grand Campaign.

Dude, common... how dumb you have to be to ask will France be playble in Napoleon TW?

In the preview its obiously a mistake.

France isn't part of coalition!!!
