One small thing I don't get.

Okay then, so there is this one thing I don't get from some people on these forums.

As we all know, alot of people don't like all parts of Empire which ofcourse isn't a big deal because there are some stuff I don't like about it to.

But now on some threads you read that everyone wants it to have less grahics(or at least not more) so they can have these very big battles! And than a few seconds later you find a thread where they want more variety in buildings, units, animations, blood particles in the game, mud and blood onto their clothes and detail in like.. anything ! and yes, sometimes the same people show up in both threads.

Just wanted to say this.... because I think it's pretty weird..

it seems like people want alot of different stuff when we talk empire and napoleon^^... seems like the only thing we can agree on is that we want better AI lol

Because everyone`s different.

We live in countries with rights. Especially the rights to free speech. Unfortunately, rights give these people ideas that they can voice their ideas. And that is why I personally rarely researched anything for ideology in Empire.

To be quite fair, having greater army sizes would be more realistic in itself. Sure, in RTW when the game portrayed the usual 5,000 man strong army, 20 units of roughly 120 was enough, and we felt this wasn't far off. By the 18th century, battles could see hundreds of thousands of men, although many never fired a shot.
If not also for the sake of 'updating' the sizes of armies, and making the game 'more realistic', MORE PEOPLE means MORE DEATH. We all find great macabre joy in seeing the line of battle paint itself across the scenery in twirly motion as hundreds lie dead in the grass. Admittedly in ETW, there're -two- lines due to the rifle range, but... still.

Different people with different opinions.

People come in varities and so do their opinions, it's called life, get used to it.

The problem is, all these different ppl with dfferent opinions expect all their expectations to be fulfilled at the same time, even when some of them conflict with each other. And when things inevitably go against their wishes, they take it personally and starts to whine.
