Basically what the title says. I want to know which is the most prominent group. Please post only the 2 or 3 most important to you not all of them, even if you do like all of them

Just like the elephant animation, this Carthage scenario is actually in the game, it just has a small percantage factor for showing up, that's all..."we're way way pre-alpha and what that means is there is loads of features not just in terms of the graphics but also in terms of the combat and animations that actually aren't in the game yet.So the final game is actually gonna look way way better than this!” - James Russell, CA

I voted other,s and AI, Other,s for myself means modding, I like to take the basic game and remold it. The better the AI and I mean battle as well as overall strategy, The better the game and the modding possibilities. If NTW cannot be modded then I have no interest in it.

Why? Because they're fun. That's what it all boils down to. And yes I'm buying NTW.
.
I didn't really find Empire that fun, tbh. So i probably won't be buying it.
But i chose historical gameplay + Ai.
After playing Empire for a few months i found myself going back to modded RTW/MTW2. I think im just a sword + bow sort've guy. Although i did really enjoy the ship battles in Empire.
I like to re mold and shape history. I like to be able to build armies, and take them into battle and compete for the different territories. MTW was the first game I played and since then it has always been the same.
The historical content to is why I play TW games, I don't play sci-fi or futureistic games.

For fun
Seriously, I do it for
A. Entertainment (basically a better word for fun.
B. I love history
C. I like strategy.
D. I love the feel of leading troops into battle, the men marching in perfect order, the drums sounding, the officers waving their swords, the glistening bayonets, the exhilaration when your men charge a battery, the colours waving in the breeze. I like the feel of thousands of men, following your every word. I like when the battle fares ill, for the general to charge with the reserves and turn the tide to victory. I like the eyes of the world being upon me. I like doing the impossible. I love total war...meh...got a little overly dramatic...he....he....he...ya...
Hi there.
I voted for better AI and for role-play factors. I really do not care for the historical accuracy of the game (it is a computer game after all), as long as it presents some good challenges for me. For the same reason I keep playing RTW, despite its massive non-historical content. It allows me to make history the way I want it. And that is the real hopes I have when it comes to NTW; that it will let me do that with out too many let-downs (the AI).

will not buy.
for all its flaws, I love ETW (patched with IS), but its not being continued/expanded by NTW means for me that I will not be purchasing NTW.
'very disappointed by this apparent turn of events.
All told, when I want real nappy I'll go the hex&counter la bataille series route easily any day... 'tis infinitely more rewarding for one's time spent than glazing-out in front of the damned screen.
I'd have loved to have the ETW world expanded into the napoleonic epoch, so this is most regrettably for me a pretty big strike against CA et al in my consideration.
cheers

Mostly co-op to be honest. If we don't get it in N:TW...![]()
