For the very pinnacle of accuracy.. can we expect to see faded jackets, or men who's hair grow as they spend more time away from settlements?

Perhaps the men's morale will dwindle as they spend more and more time away from their wives (or morale increase in some cases for some men)

Above; An outdated soldier contemplates his next haircut. That top with those shoes in the early 19th century darling!? plzzzzzzz

I highly doubt that.. but it would be really cool if you had armys outside cities. as you say the uniform colors should fade, get dirty etc. more and more soldiers should loose backpacks , equipment and so on
but also they should get xp in the fatique levels. fx if you have this army marching alot their stamina levels should rise. and if they spent a lot of time in cold regions they should get the resistant to cold fatique perk

    sry bad english^^

You do know that these men either naturally powdered their hair so they could get that white color or wore a wig.

Isn't it right that people also powdered their hair because most people rarely showered so the powder kept the hair from looking greasy ?

I am sure there were tons of reason such as the fashion, military regulations, maybe a wig if u were going bald i guess haha. It was common and at least in the French revolution a sign of nobility and that is why the French grew their hair out to look more natural and did not powder. Although, some old generals who once served in the French military before the revolution like Besseries always powdered his hair as he was old fashion

You could have a general with a hairdresser follower to solve the long hair problem, or a wig maintainer (hardly anyone wears a wig in etw it seems)

My soldier's uniforms are dyed with the blood of my enemies! With the constant battles I put them through, I don't think their uniforms are gonna fade anytime soon.

No, Kieran told me they've focused more on detail of the uniformed soldiers rather then copying the effects of long duration campaigning like Medieval

There was a really old game called squad leader (set in ww2) it was an awful game, but had some nice touches, like if a unit receved bad news it would be affected on the battlefield, or if they got a letter from home saying they had become a father for instance..

Yes but we don't want to have to micromanage our units like that! Assorting each unit into its city of origin to regain its morale is just boooring.

You kind of get the morale effect with attrition.

Attrition doesn't affect morale, only decreases the number of units you have.

Which leads to units breaking much earlier than normal...

But that's different from the "oh my I miss my wives (kekeke)". Attrition is more like "OMG! They have 300 times more men than us!"

    I have awesome similes.
