Can't run the mod

Ive tried installing the 6.1 mod a few times but keep getting "Medieval II has suffered a fatal error and will now exit".. what can i do? >< i bought kingdoms through steam, if that has any relevance

Yes it does, did you get both m2tw and kingdoms on steam or just kingdoms, if you got oen retail and one steam it's very hard to help you.

And to install 6.1 you need to install 6.0 parts 1 and 2 aswell.

Installed 6.0 part 1 and 2, then patched 6.1, wont work, not before patch, and not after patch.
