    Default Offensive nobility

    Hello DLVs ...

I do not know what is happening with my game, but just can not judge the generals disobedient to the royal lineage.

When the king receives the feature offensive nobility or inspired the civil war and the generals get traces of obedient or disobedient I'm already leading the disobedient to the capital.

With the rebels in the capital I can not judge them.

I get the event, in the beginning of turn, of a rebel in this capital and the instructions to the trial, But when I click on the rebellious character, in the military list, the event for the trial did not come.

I'm playing with England and I have a tower in the capital.
The King is in the capital with the disobedient.

Had no problem about that before...

    Thanks for your help.

I'm told I broke the retirement/dungeon script in a previous version of BB, maybe that's the problem. The current version of BB should work as well as 6.2 - so not very well in other words. Basically this script is dodgy.

How to get it working when it is failing? - No idea, never managed it, sorry

    So this explained.

Truly the script is not working and it is impossible to go through periods of dissent and civil war in this way, unless I kill all dissidents.

    Too bad ...

I wish it were that simple since if it was then we could just remove it, the problem is that it works sometimes. I think I've had campaigns where it appears to work and campaigns where it does not, but that doesn't mean I tested every turn. Perhaps I just needed to keep trying.

The modding community seems to think that e_select_character is a faulty command, perhaps Repman will find another way to provide the function but without using it. We can only hope

BTW a better way to solve it rather than killing a load of family is to cheat and give the family members the traits you want. Check export_descr_charcter_traits for the trait names.

hm i dont know. i find this workaround unsatisfying. are you aware of how to just disable the effect that disobidient generals have (the ability to move?)

i d rather disable this broken feature until its fixed

i also think a better approach to make loyalty critical is get the ai to use its diplomats aggressively to bribe generals. this way u d loos you disloyal generals rather then having them around without beein able to get rid of them.

just sacrificing them in battle or sending them to kill pirates is first of all killing emersion and second of all more often not even possible as soont hey wil be unable to move. and moving them about 20 or 30 turn until u find s th that kills them is usualy way to expensive

-Send them on a boat and let the pirates sink it.
-Attack enemy army with the family member you need to get rid off , and let the enemies kill him.
