New Germany for my Kaiser
After many campaigns with my HRE emperor I discover is boring at one moment to fight with everybody. Turn 153 I got 50 provinces and war almost with everybody. Yes Genoa was badly punished, Pope live on baltic island, teutons who was so foulish to atack me disapear, lituanians beg for mercy, france feel my rage in low lands, alsacian woods and cote de azure. Italy is mine. Hungarians live in 2 castles. Poland was vanished and greek emeror lost balkans. Yes is funny, but sometime you think you lost the flavor. Damn, I love HRE but I hate the macromanagement.
So I got an Ideea. What if I emigrate. Not to Holy Land, not to Hispagnia or Africa. Why not closer. So I made the plan. First I offer Wienna to Jerusalim. They must live more, and Europe is perfect for them. Lets offer papacy Bologna and some cash to be a rodent for Venice and Genoa. Perfect. Now lets move the troops. Faster than crusade is nothing, so crusade some rebel city near Jerusalim. Cool. We go to brits islands. After that was easy, I offer all my provinces except frankfurt to England for Exeter and Nothingham. poor english not understand, they was happy. Less than 10 turns kayser and his noble brothers are in Britania. Wales fall easy. rest of companions seize Ireland. With 2 stacks in England, and many generals, will bepiece of cake kicke the english butts out of there. Next will be scotland. Than we can make a sofisticate army with good trade and good technology.
Why to get an empire when can have 3 kingdoms. Is only turn 18 and I feel things are much better. For cutting the bridges in Europe mainland I put Nothingam capital and give Frankfurt to genovese. than will make a busy place of my former reich.

Re: New Germany for my Kaiser
Want to know whats fun ? Giving away huge swaths of land to a nigh defeated or just hilarious faction and then (after a recovery period of say 20 turns) fight them for it !
Imagine having a catholic civil war, with half of your glorious reich in the hands of that malignant fool: the pope.
Great way to revitalize a dead campaign.
That, or if you want to try role playing, dont take any enemy settlements (except for rebels or enemy occupied zones) and see how long you can hold out. No alliances, no trade agreements, no map information, just an infinity war to the end of time.
Just think, eventually you'll have desperate armies of crap militia troops, augmented by glorious knights of the realm as you fight off crusades invasions and anything else for the glory and sanctity of the reich
.
Just some ideas on sprucing up gameplay, all of these recommendations, of course, are for late game HRE, just to make things more hectic.

Well, it seems you(Gogolometro)and I think alike, because I also tend to emigrate factions. If I remember correctly it first started with The Knights Templar moving to Constantinople. But the Portugese have found a new homeland in Britannia, the Scottish in Sicily, and the TO in Spain.

Haha yea I love to do that sort of thing as well. I just recently finished an England campaign where I moved my empire to Egypt, started by taking over Cairo and then I crushed the holy lands with Hospitalers and Longbows

Re: New Germany for my Kaiser
Is 1300, Holy Roman Empire is back on continent with DFK, imperial units and gunners. France was kicked from alliance from pope order. The campaign was swift and blitz. They live in Maeseile, Lyon and Dijon. They reject the vassality but are no more treat so we keep the peace, for now. The Empire turn to Genova who hold some german lands and declared war to Kaiser. In this moment the kaiser army siege Frankfurt and Bern is next. English survive at 2 fortress of my formal lands. Jerusalim is in Wienna, already a jihad target now. One juicy target is cicilians turks, an dead empire good for lift our relation with papacy to the sky. We keep in touch about progresion.
