    Default Khand

First of all i'm not english so forgive me if i don't write correctly.

Ok, i noted that Khand start as a Rebel Ciy, in my opinion the region should be loyal, from the start, to the Rhun faction. Khand was in war with Gondor since a millennia (mybe, i don't remember)

Another litte thing: in khand there is a unit called "khandish spearmen", i think also this unit must be a member of the Rhun faction (mybe only as mercenary). What do you think?

Well it being a rebel city adds a bit of spice for the Human Harad player. Ruhn's hardwired to capture the city so if Harad takes it first Ruhn will declare war and the Harad player can eat Ruhn with impunity then. I like the idea of the mercenary unit. Thanks for bringing the idea up...

By the way, welcome to the TWC Forums...

Wel,l Khand can even start with Harad at least (the bad thing for me is he start as a rebel zone xD)

Spearmen are a nice unit, they are wasted only as rebel unit. As mercenaries for Harad, Rhun and Mordor (which is near khand) thy suld be cool xD
ps: Thx you to have don this fantastic mod *__*

The Rhun AI has an army sripted to take Khand so it will end up in the end of Rhun anyway.
It was maybe left for the rebels because it makes things for the player a little bit more challenging.

In many campaigns I played Rhun was a pain in the *SS Giving them another settlement will make them ever more kickass.

At least you right, it's impossibile that a good faction will take control of Khand before Rhun or Harad ^^

Its even impossible for Harad to get Khand! I tried it, started a new campaign and directly sent an army to Khand in turn 1. But when I was there by turn 3 or 4, there came the scripted Rhun army out of nowhere and captured it....

I teleported a diplomat to Rhun and got a alliance deal. After that i took Khand. When hitting end turn a teleporting Rhun army took Khand from me. No siege or anything. Only WAR.
So don't bother to try taking Khand as Harad.

I think Khand should be pictured as third evil human faction portrayed as a mix of current Harad and Easterlings or Arabian and Persian if we like to compare with our world.
Meanwhile Harad should be rather pictured as Nubian with a little spices of Egipt.
It's my opinion based on Tolkien, Yeskow and Pierumov.

Nice idea but khand for me it's too small to be an indipendent faction on game

It also has a very bad position. Khand would be surrounded by evil factions and has nowhere to expand.

in a submod, there could more regions added, and perhaps a "rebel tunnel"

or better yet, do like u do other factions, make new regions, not too many and split the "Kingdom" in 2, one half in the heart of evil and the other CLOSE to gondor border

if such submod would exist, gondor AI should get extra money and possibly some stacks of its own

alotough, if another evil faction is added invasions would become impossible, w/o good factions getting a "jihad" at least, it would become far too unbalanced

I'm playing now HE and the invasion was called on Bree. However i have to admit, that Eriador has taken it to seriously - Bree was urrounded by 71 units and in the 2 nearest city stayed another 40 units.
