    Default IS IT POSSIBLE to Make Settlements rebel at Campaign Start when playing as SPQR?

    So I have SPQR as a playable faction, and I want this to happen:

    -I start a new game as any faction other than SPQR and it is a normal game with all factions as they should be unmodified. (RTW 1.5+BI update)

    -I start a new game as SPQR, opens up and the other Roman factions have all Rebelled! (Not rebel after first turn but already have rebelled).

    Can I do this? Basically I need "If Player is SPQR, delete factions Julii, Scipii, Brutii". Hope I am clear. Thanks in advance for any help.

    You could try a certain script like this :

    Code:
    monitor_event FactionTurnStart FactionIsLocal
     and I_LocalFaction romans_senate
    
    console_command control slave
    
    if I_SettlementOwner Arretium = romans_julii
     console_command capture_settlement Arretium
    end_if
    
    ; ....
    
    console_command control romans_senate
    
    terminate_monitor
    end_monitor
    And then copy-paste the bolded bit and replicate it for each settlement

    Thanks! So there is no kill faction option? You wouldn't be able to tell me in here how to set up this script, I never understand those tutorials. I guess I shall have a go.

    Looking at HouseOfHam's tutorial this sounds like what I need:

    campaign script - A script called at the end of the descr_strat.txt file. This script only runs once, when a new campaign is first started. Saving/loading the game is disabled while this type of script runs, so it's a good idea to keep this type of script short, only using it for basic initialization and to kick off a background script. This is the type of script used for the Sons of Mars tutorial campaign in vanilla RTW.
    Could you tell me how do I put this in and what other things do I need?

    Don't know if it works.

    Though I wonder if it isn't just much easier to delete the roman factions from the campaign ?

    It would be but I would like those factions in as well.

    But you do know that once a faction loses all his settlements, they can't get back in the game like in MTW1 ?

    Try using a campaign script with just this in it:
    Code:
    script
    console_command kill_faction romans_senate
    end_script
    If that doesn't work, you could also try console_command surrender_regions romans_senate
    RTR website/SVN admin

    - Settlement coordinate locator -for RTW/M2TW
    - EDB Validator v1.2.8 (Oct 16, 2012) - for RTW/M2TW
    - RTW scripting tutorials
    - n-turns per year script generator

    Are campaign scripts just scripts on the end of Desc_Strat?

    And I have finished my script though it occurs on the second turn and leaves a few too many rebel armies about. I decided I liked having the Senate needing to capture these Rebel regions.

    so kill_faction really does work ?
