First Campiagn?

I just downloaded RTRPE and checked a couple AAR's from the mod and it seems amazing, but I have no clue what faction start as for my first campaign. If I choose a campiagn I want to be kinda of historically accurate so what are some rules I should have along with that. Like if I play Carthage where did they expand before the Romans came in? Any ideas? Please and Thank you.

If you wanna go historically , the only factions that grew strong were Rome, Bactria, Parthia and the Ptolemies for some time.
There is a very good guide on how to play romans historically but I do not remember the thread of it. Maybe someone could tell...

Other factions don`t have such guides. Well, there were a few on the rtr forums, but went down with them years ago.

The 66 BC CTD. Either you do those changes before starting the campaign or you accept that date to be the end of your campaign.
