    Default Any Other Scripts I Need to Remove?

    Let me start by saying that I don't like games that are so challenging they make me want to pull my hair out. Just thought I'd get that out of the way.

    Before I start a game, I wanted to delete all the crazy advantages the AI gets (free armies, free defenders, planting stakes during battle, etc.), all of which do nothing for the player.

    I got rid of all the scripts that were mentioned in the FAQ, but I wanted to know if there are any other scripts that help the AI to such an extent as the ones I've already mentioned.

    Again, let me say that I don't care if anyone thinks that I'm ruining the fun by doing this. Just let me know if there's anything else I might need to remove.

    Thats about it unless you want the remove to free money the ai gets...but with all the scripts you have already removed it would be far too easy.

    I mean really easy..once you beat out the ai's starting armies you have pretty much won already.

    The money the AI gets is fine with me (although I've seen mods that give massive bonuses to the AI while taking a chunk away from the player). It's just the other stuff that rather bothered me.

    Anyway, thanks for the quick answer.

    I took a look at the FAQ and I think these aren't mentioned (though they may not help the AI to the same extent as the ones mentioned):
    HELP WEAKENED FACTIONS - spawns a highly developed enemy field army if you conquer an important AI setllement (like Isengard)
    MONSTER SPAWN - gives Harad/Mordor a few trolls/Mumakil at turn 70/100
    AI INVASIONS - extra armies for Harad/Mordor appear at turn 30/50/100

    You should be able to find them via search under these names in the campain_script.txt and remove them the same way as the others.

    As for the money script it depends on difficulty, so I would reccommend just to play on a lower difficulty if you want to cut the AI's money advantage.

    I removed those scripts before and it was WAAAY to easy. I played as gondor and beat all the evil factions in about 80-100 turns.

    Since you removed those scripts you should start your campaign VH/VH because playing it E/E without them will be so easy, I cant even explain how easy.

    He probably isn't playing a campaign just to win it. They're a lot more roleplay-friendly when the AI doesn't get stack after stack of troops to grind through.

    You're right. In fact, I don't think I've ever finished a campaign, as I never feel the need for a vast empire or anything like that. I quickly take the rebel settlements around me until I'm a decent size, and then I simply sit back and do diplomatic stuff. Make allies, send aid to anyone that needs it, stuff like that.

    WarCollider, play at Medium.

    If not, then you have to remove trait bonuses the AI gets at Hard and Very Hard and crazy building bonuses from the EDU. To do that, go to the script and find the monitors that check difficulty setting and delete them too.
