Looking for a show

It was a french show (I think), it's intro tune was the beginning of one of the symphonies of Beethoven (I think) and it showed history. It had a little clock with the year on the side of the screen. They did a similar show about space and the human body.

Can anyone remember such a show? I want to see if I can find it again to fill up some nostalgia holes.
