I have no Text

I installed Broken Crescent, which did not work until I followed a tutorial and manually edited my registry (screenshot). It now works with the significantly hampering feature of not displaying text (see screenshots).
I run M2TW on best graphics with no trouble at all (I built my $2000 computer myself about a month ago, and its amazing ).

Thanks very much for all the help I received previously in getting this mod to work. Only a little bit left.
It is worth noting that I have M2TW through steam and that is probably why I had trouble in the first place.

First I deleted the map.rwm, which was inconsequential.
Then copied the text files from retrofit mod to the data/text directory of BC and it works!
