    Default Question about captured towns

I'm still relatively new to MTW2/LOTR mod and my question is; Why is it when I capture a town/city/castle I can't build any men. Right now I'm playing as Eriador and when I take a town from Isengard I can't build any men there, even though I have the buildings to do so.

You need to get your factions culture rating in that settlement up like with Gondor you build librarys

Since ur with Eriador, u should notice a building named "Standing Stones", build it in a new town so you increase you culture

In this mod, you recruit units based on culture, low tier units usually require 10%-20% of you culture.

Click on settlement details to see current culture

    Eriador is Northmen.

Units have several requirements. The major one of these is the building you need to train them. The second of these requirements is the requires cultural level. You can see this by clicking on the settlement information tab. Several buildings increase your cultural level each round. A less important requirement for a unit to be recruited is a hidden resource. This resource is only available in a select amount of settlements and make these units AOR only (Area of Recruitment). A good example of this are the Knights from Dol Amroth or ranger from Ithilien.

if your going to accuse someone of saying it wrong make sure you have something to back it up...dwarfs. welcome to middle-earth...home to a variety of species...one of them being the DWARVES. or to just bypass the whole dwarf vs dwarves just call them Durins folk...for he was the first and will be the last....as is stated in the simillarion..

My name is: Muffer Ennel, and I need me eight soldiers. We're gonna be dropped in the TATW forums disguised as noobs. We are gonna be doing one thing and one thing only. Banning spammers.

Members of the TATW spammer alliance conquered the TATW forums through silencing, spamming, flaming and IP changing and that's exactly what we are going to do to get them. We will be cruel to the spammers. And through our cruelty they will know who we are. They will find the evidence of our cruelty in the disembowled, dismembered and disfigured accounts of their brothers we leave behind us. And the spammers will not be able to help themselves from imaging the cruelty their brothers endured at our hands. And our bootheels and the edge of our knives. The spammers will be sickened by us, the spammers will talk about us and the spammers will fear us. Spamming ain't got no humanity and they need to be destroyed. Each and every man under my command owes me one-hundred banned spammer accounts. And I want my accounts.

    That good?

You have won the Internet. Forever. Or maybe Quentin Tarantino won the universe. I cannot decide.

A queston, though. Would it be possible to give Eriador two forms of culture-Northmen and Dunedain, and make it so that their elite units require dunedain, but their normal (and early game) units require Northmen?

As far as I know factions can have only one culture.

You can have a script so that you can convert to Dunedain culture like Lithuania does in Teutonic.
