How to get rid of the repeating background in Empire Total War?

Whenever Im in lobby, that laggy repeating background that shows the troops firing and the ships moving really does lag the lobby , especially when many servers are up and running causing even more lag, to even just simply click a server and join but that repeating background causes to much lag for me to just do the simple double click of a mouse without a minute delay before finally it says failed to join.

So if anyone knows how to get rid of it, or to just show a non-transparent background, i would really appreciate it.

As I said, it's not the bg movie that's lagging.
It still can be annoying anyway...
AFAIR, there was this "how to get the old menu back" thread when the natives bg movie was playing... if you research who mini-modded the old menu back in, he should be able to tell you how to put in another (or none) bg movie.

Matter of fact, the repeating background doesn't lag at all; if that were the case, the main menu would lag as well.
It's the game browser itself that CA's New Guy(tm) must have written: it's not only laggy but close to useless.
