Here is an idea perhaps if so easy you could make the new models and skins for the units show us what the remake looks like in game and heck if there any good KK may even ask to put them in the main mod
Till then i would rather see them doing what they are doing and in future redoing eriador etc that need a redo rather than try to please everyone with a troop that is well already quite good ( i wish i could model aswell as these guys i keep trying but i am only average at best![]()
I think the Serpent Guard units are perfect as they are, it's totaly how I pictured them to be
YOu really think because there are figures from a workshop, that you can easily ad fasd creat two new units, may be even while doing other things, in about an hour, or two ????
It takes hours and hours to do one unit !!! And why should KK spend this time with redoing fantastic looking units, while he could work on "definitly much more important" things ???
It is definitly not very logical, as you should think about your suggestions in generell...
Please forst reallly think carefully about them, not if you want it to be done, but also if it is really neccessary, or important, or if it makes sense at all...

It would be better you think of every point and summ it up in your list, and post this one time in the suggestion thread, that this are all your sugegstions for the future...

You say it doesn't clash that much with the general Harad style but I would say it does look nearly the same as some of the current Haradrim units (Haradrim Archers, Pikemen, Lancers etc.) etc. for the horns/tusks-shield-thingy on their backs and I prefer a serpent guard that looks a bit different. I personally never had any problems with the current Serpent Guard and I think it's fitting too - your claim that in the Third Age there were generally no units with medieval look and equipment is your personal interpretation and not an irrevocable fact.
I agree with both of you.
Serpent guard is one (pluss Men of Far Harad) if not the only trule heavy all-round unit Harad has which can hope to stand against Gondorian forces - they deserve to look as good as they do.
If I ain't mistaken then there "strange posture" is tied with the Heavy cavalry model of the MedII engine?

no, they wont be remodeled. as mentioned they are great as they are. if you don't like them you
have to do it on your own. because there always is another guy that would like it to be changed
again. the dev's discussed all units before they actually made it in the mod.
and btw - why do you think that the serpent guards would look "better and more harad style" when
using the miniature models you posted. thesemodels where made up on someones imagination too.
no one can say how serpent guards would look like realistic.
but as i said - everyone is always welcome to (re)model some units of TATW and publish them
in the sub-mod forum as a optional modification.

I believe they look much better in the game, and seeing as there isn't any visual evidence in any of Tolkien's work I think we should just stick with what we've already got
