NTW's Flags

CA!!!!!!!!!
Why haven't you:

1. Given France an eagle on their flag poles!

2. Given the Nations the right flags, with decorations and all!

3. Given Britain two flags, the Kings colour and the Regimental Colour!

Come on CA, you can do better, here are some links, see if you can fix the problems in a couple of patches!!!!

Ohh God, How I love French flag! Certainly the most beautiful flag at this time

The Infanterie Legere should be deleted.

Well, I think the simple Tricolour would fit better, because in Italy and Egypt France was still a republic

Here another set of what you would find on a battlefield. On one hand the Regimental Flag (upper right) with the regional shields showing the raising province (In this case Granada) and on the other hand the Coronela Flag with the Royal Shield.



Here some shots from a Spanish reenactor site that represents the Valencia line inf. Regiment.



A interesting one. This is the 1807 Uniform of the Irish "Ultonia" (Ulster) Regiment serving the Spanish Royal Family. They had a distinguished service during the Siege of Girona. Notice their two flags. The Reigmental one with small Blue Irish Harps at the end of each "stick" and the Coronela Flag with the same shields at the four corners.


If only one flag is allowed per unit, then it should be the Royal Blazoon and not the Regimental burgundy cross which was starting to get dropped (still held out till 1830´s)
