what's wrong with the face?

is it normal to have some asian looking dude as the face of generals? if this is not normal is there anything i can do to fix it?

Also is religions supposed to be han, dong, tao, pagan, heretic? not christianity, orthodox, etc.?

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that you have another mod installed that is interferring with SS. If you are running Vista, make sure that UAC is turned off

Ive noticed that all the unit faces are altered. They dont look nearly as good as the faces in the original Vanilla M2TW. Was there a reason they were changed? Maybe because of custom helmets or something?

Do you have "All under heaven", or some other east asian mod installed? That would explain the asiatic looking portraits and chinese religions pretty well. You may have problems running SS properly, you may need to do a full reinstall to sort this one out.

Hit the "Print Screen" button (which may be abbreviated to "PrtScn") on your keyboard to take a screenshot, then go into Paint or a similar program and edit->paste the image. The button copies whatever is on your screen and puts it on the clipboard, so don't copy anything else before you paste it.

But it sounds like you installed All Under Heaven or a similar mod in the wrong folder.
