    Looking through the various screen-shots and videos, I have noticed the Grenade function is still enabled on Grenadier units, this is completely inaccurate as they didn't carry Grenades during the Napoleonic wars!

    Would people like this to be addressed? Or are people happy to have them (Game-play diversity)?

    Just wondering, could Jack possibly comment on why they have been included?

    I always thought the grenades where kind of over the top in the TW series and I play with DM in ETW to have them disabled as I find they have too much impact on gameplay which is not historically accurate and also boring.

    I had hope that the grenades would be turned off in NTW as the grenadiers did not use them at the time. I would certainly like an option to deactivate them, otherwise I'll have to grab the first mod turning them off.

    A small, limited amount of grenades would be just perfect.

    Yes, during early campaign they carried grenades, as the did for the entire 1700's but you have to remember, TW is trying to recreate history, just letting you play with it, so if people want grenades, then they should be added.

    I like the grenade carrying grenadiers, they can be extremely effective but when used wrong their impact is small

    A no grenade and French Guard non-visor bearskin shako will be in a mod within the first week after release. I didn't like the grenades in ETW and will like them even less in NTW.

    I see no problem with this. Okey its not historical but I rather have some gameplay diversity than just another line with a different cap

    Well they could use grenades against building and other fortification only. That would make them historically accurate and add to the gameplay.

    Grenades against buildings=they would rock. I hate I always need to melee charge in buildings, instead of a good barbeque..

    If they fix the idiots who insist on dropping the grenades, fair enough one or tow might fumble, but half the unit drop them at their feet and then just stand on top of um?

    Well my only problem with Grenadiers having grenades is that they half their unit size for balance purposes.
