Default Deciding which to play 6.1 v 6.2

So I'm trying to debate on which to play.

And here is what I got so far.

    6.1
Already have a campaign about 50 turns in and I love where it is going (not a huge deal but a factor still)
More submods as of right now less buggy using RC/RR
I don't have to use the supply system which I hate with a passion

    6.2
AI won't let the human player get a lot of alliances and live a peaceful life!
AI will form alliance block to fight against the common enemy, human or computer!
AI really likes to do a TOTAL WAR!

Now that sounds great on paper but I would like to know just how far they go. And if the bolded one backfires/how often it backfires (By which I mean, is it now a to get and hold an alliance/how often do allies break).

So like... how often will an ally back you up? Or the computer, am I looking forward to a lot of allied backed up sieges or on the flip side; double teamed by a computer alliance I pissed off?

If anyone can give me some general answers to those that'd be great.

    Is the RR/RC SS 6.2?

I'm not really sure whats going on lol.

I downloaded SS6.2 RC4, but after doing some reading what I am getting is that the latest RC/RR (http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=300716) is SS 6.2 + RC/RR? Or Do I just install that over SS 6.2?

    *Is so confused*

RR/RC includes 6.2. You can install RR/RC over the top of 6.1

    Ah ok much thanks.

Then my only question left is, is there a way to get rid of the supply system? Or is it in that version at all? (I like to make one badass general that goes across the land conquering everything and this kinda ruins it for me.)

Well, unless you're godlike at total war battles, you're going to have to rest every now and then, it doesn't really hinder your general from cutting a bloody path through Geno- uh; whichever faction is the target of your wrath.
I approve of the choice of RR/RC, which includes 6.2 in the package. Many improvements are offered, with almost no downside.

EDIT: Actually read the original post more.
It doesn't mean that factions are less trustworthy, it's more along the lines of having those who are neutral attack you more eagerly. - Although that is my own experience, and if there is one steadfast rule in each TW campagin, any version or mod; it is that each campagin plays differently.
Also, you won't see the ally directly back up your armies too often, more of a random chance. But the fact that factions put a lot of effort into war, (say, a German-Polish alliance against Hungary, the ally really will put in 50% of the combined war effort.

You have 6.1 at the moment.
You can download 6.2, on top of 6.1
Or you can download RR/RC, which has it's own unique changes, but RR/RC includes the 6.2 patch.

    By the way:
It is possible in 6.2 RR/RC to make consistent alliances. You just have to give your ally some florins from time to time.

More realistic as they need an incentive to allign with you.

In RR is hard to make an alliance at late. If you are at early is easier, but you must consider things can change because 3 party faction. Other thing who is very important, you must be prepared. If AI see 2-3 units running close tho his mighty stack, even i trusty relation situation, can have a war. I saw many crusade or marching army on my lands, they never atack if my garison was strong, but a less defended city became very interesting to them. By the way Point Blank and company deserve all my respect who so great work they done.

(6.2) very hard on h/h to make alliances with western europeans when your certain eastern european factions. hard to make alliances while being doubled or triple teamed for much of the campaign.

Leave it to the modder to perfect the works of the paid developers for no profit at all.

Most times I fight max. two factions at the same time. As I already said, it is possible to sustain alliances in 6.2 even on vh/vh.

Is posible. If I already take it Rome, killed 2 popes, obliterated Genoa, my Sicilian and HRE ally stand with me. I cant say same about Papacy and KOJ. Actions of yors, strenght of your army and AI oportunities fix alliances. Now is timeto make egiptian pope vassal. Did work with HRE and France, why not with Venice?

damn, even easy is not easy at all
I love the savage AI, but, hey, what happened with the alliances?
Most of the factions are just bunch of backstabbing bastards..
