    Default Books...

So while waiting for this great mod to come out i been entertaining myself with some historical fiction books about the time period of this mod (the Viking age). So far here's what i finished reading:

    Bernard Cornvell Alfred series:

    The Last Kingdom
    The Pale Horseman
    The Lords of the North
    Sword Song
    The Burning Land

These are fantastic books about the Viking and Anglo Saxon period, it captures the atmosphere of the time really well and the characters well developed through the books. Must read for anyone!!!

    Tim Severin Viking Trilogy:

    Odinn's Child
    Sworn Brother
    King's Man

Not a bad read, focusing on the end of the Viking age. The series starts pretty slow in the first book where the writer tries to put alot of detail and depth into the book, but it does pick the pace up and by the third book you cant believe its finished. Definitely worth reading at least once.

I also just ordered Robert Low's Oathsworn series (first three books), cant wait to read them now. If you have read or can recommend anymore similar books post them here, i need to keep myself busy until this mod comes out.
