BAI in action

I know most of you that have played this game are very familiar with the crap BAI. This is just a response to TW Rehabs 'The general consensus of community feedback has been that 1.5 is all around (BAI included) a good patch that offers more fun'. How can this even be acceptable to anyone? Please forgive the music(although I thought it fitting) and occassional lag, I cant get fraps audio to work properly for whatever reason.

With a similar setup on both sides, minus the bonuses, It was much closer. The DMAI kept a consistent line, although still outflanked and beaten it was much more of a challenge. Video forthcoming...

The bottom line is I cant replicate in your mod. They hold lines and dont melee/chicken dance in the danger zone. Although, the AI is fairly easily beaten, it just doesnt give the battle away as in vanilla.

Datrhmod=Vanilla BAI problems solved.
It's a fairly easy solution, but if CA fixed this one aspect they would have a fairly challenging game(for SP).

Yea this is usually what i see when i do battles with vanilla aswell, notice the wierd line that they form in the beginning, that just doesnt make any sense lol

That is good to know. In campaign battles the AI is tougher also. I wait for the video and I will use both in the promotion thread of DarthMod, if you don't mind. Thanks for the info.

Foultrajik, this is a devastating illustration of their BS. Would you please post this on my thread if you have the time, i.e. the one "CA finished with Empire?" that Kieran has posted on? I think this will help to ensure that CA staff get to see it.

the darthmodlite pack 5,1 had some issues for those who downloaded it (I forgot to remove some scripts compatible only with BSM mod). What darthmod have you used for the video?

DMUC, whichever one is w/o the hotfix. Im having some problems with virtualdub, otherwise this would have been u/l'ed by now.

I'm going to download your mod today as my first few days of vanilla have revealed the common issues and I want some blood and smoke. Is this the one (5,1) I should download?

Yes 5,1 or the big one DMUC (a gigantic project by me, hip63 and many contributing modders)
DarthMod lite is the closest to vanilla but I will have it this afternoon re-uploaded.

Hey Darth. I'm just curious, since I haven't been here for almost a year, do we wait for your impressions on NTW prior to release or post release? I just never saw your impressions for ETW, so was wondering how it worked.

Oh and that video made have a good laugh.
