Grand Batery of the Convention

Does anybody know whether this unit appears in the Italian Campaign or the Grand (main) campaign.
The artillerist is wearing a bicorne so does this imply that it appears in smaller Italian campaign?

Has anyone ever heard of this unit it says here http://www.bol.com/nl/p/games/napole...364/index.html (in dutch) you get it if you pre-order.
Is this dutch only?

It is the special unique pre-order unit from Amazon, you get it free if you pre-order from them. 'Play', has theirs, so do 'Game' and 'Steam'

historically the grand battery of the convention was used in Toulon

it wont be in the Italian campaign cos in that Napoleon only has poor quality troops

i suspect itll be in the Mastery of Europe Grand Campaign

in all seriousness its likely just to be another pretty uniform.... not a tactic or special formation. So it will be useless. Esp since not everyone will have it.

Its gonna have twice the guns of any other artillery unit in the game

I'd say out of all the pre-order bonus units. this is the best one. I'd take a double sized artillery unit over a cavalry unit or the HMS Elephant.

thats why this is the pre-order unit i chose!

I wish I could get it but CA decided to be prejudice against Americans.

We only have the limited edition, only the Heroes and Special regiments units, 15 in all. No special retail preorder units except Scots Grey but then you lose out on the Heroes pack. Atleast our version is cheaper.

If you order from amazon it comes with the pre-order, that's what I did.

the total war site tells u what and where u can get units from pre-ordering in ur country

What store is the grand battery from in AU

I'm thinking that the grand battery does sound good if its a double unit on a single card. But this puts others in the multi campaign at a disadvantage.

Towarczy - GAME
HMS Elephant - EB

u only get them if u pre-order though of course
