I've had the same problem and I'm not sure what to do. The Northern names problem has been edited, so that should be fixed. The 0.7 version worked perfectly but 0.8 has bugged up. I downloaded the 3 rar 0.8 files, put them in the data folder and and then used 7zip to unpack then (and replaced the old files when required) but it still crashes just as its about to start all the opening movies we sit throygh before the menu appears. Looking at the log (not hugely experienced) it seemed to say something about the titles (comes etc etc) things. So, yeah, any ideas? There didn't seem to be a solution earlier up on the thread except redownload several times (which I've done.)

Okay I've worked it out (for when the game crashes after exiting the splash screen) and for any who get stuck in the future, what you need to do is just redownload 0.7 fully, after uninstalling it. Then unpack the 0.8 files and move them into the dHRR data folder and overwrite the old files when prompted. Load the game up with the bat file and if it crashes after the splash screen redo this process again and again and again until it works inexplicably. :p It worked 3rd time for me and that seems to be the average.

Thanks for uploading this. But there do seems to be a problem with the files. I've tried installing them several times, and each time after running the setup I get the following message:

Das Heilige Romische Reich - Version 0.7 has not been totally installed because of the following reason:

File corrupt or unreadable:
mods\HRR_07\data\ui\unit_info\u_lorraine\grand_master_ulrich_info.tga

Sadly redownloading the files hasn't worked. Any thoughts?
