Honey is particularly good at making people feel better. Simply resting helps wonders too. The trick is not to stress yourself out too much. Otherwise you get into situations like me where you end up being ill for 5, 6 weeks

Better leave it at that though because I have a habit of going on and on and on and on and on about all things biological when I get started

Thanks. I'm feeling mostly better now. I'm still feeling tired, though, even though the other symptoms have faded. ('twas a stomach flu.)

Dang it! I'm still sick! I got my wife's throat cold now. I feel fine except that I'm a lot of pain there. Kind of hard to concentrate on coding when you're getting constant reminders from a bunch of nerves about that.

Thanks! I'm back now and only a little stuffy. It's been a crazy week at work (long story, but a good one), and we were supposed to go to a resort this weekend. Instead, we're snowed in and I spent all morning digging us and a few neighbors out. Literally. They couldn't open their doors.

For the record, I apparently wasn't so much sick as the sickness I had initially weakened my immune system and helped along a secondary infection at the site of my recent dental surgery (which extended up into my sinus cavity). So yesterday I had a surprise (and surprisingly painful) operation to clear it up, and I'm now back on Vicodin. Be afraid. Be very afraid.
