That first pic might please a few players, some were after the troops looking like they are from the earlier period, if that is indeed what CA are putting into the game.

But i think the enemy may still be moving into position, as the defenders are still firing, so perhaps have not yet been engaged into melee combat?

Such helmets were mostly used in light infantry, but I still appreciate the fact that devs added them. Good job.

I implore somebody to show me some screenshots that resemble Napoleonic Warfare. All I am seeing is Blob Warfare 2.0

Bitterly disappointed that with all the new space this interface gives they haven't given us more unit abilities. It'd be easy to have more control over firing drills and things with all the extra space.. instead we're stuck with the same old things. Guard mode, form square and fire and advance. Nothing new in combat.

While that does bode very poorly, it isn't evidence of bad BAI quite yet. We need to see it in motion, making active decisions.

Remember, even the "ultra-smart M2TW BAI" (as some here claim) shows us many, many instances of units failing to turn as a unit of cavalry thunders full tilt into its side or back. This particular photo is far from good news, obviously, but I'm not ready to call the AI until I hear back first-hand gameplay reports (and eventually see it for myself).

Nice skins, hopefully you can play as the various Italian States (Venice, Papacy, Tuscany, Lucca) and Austria.
I like the blue and red Venetians in thew upper screen, historical for once.

very nice Hinkel ad Panzeschreck, you are giving us what we need : pictures... I still hope to see more vids though (gameplay) from both battles and campaign.

I would say chasseurs and dragoons rather. The first unit uniform seems to be green like the chasseurs and they don't seem to wear a pelisse.
They still could be hussards though...

And what about the infantry ?

In the screenshot showing Napoléon's army near Veronne we can see that the first unit seems to be Grenadiers of the line. But what about the second one ? They seem to be only 90 men in the unit, some kind of skirmishers or sharpshooter maybe ?
Then, infantry de ligne, probably a "regular" unit given they seems to be the one wearing the helmets of the 1791 regulation.
Then you have 5 unknow units, national guard ? Conscripts ?
Then another unknow unit, slightly different from the 5 others (gold braids on the arm, plumes on the hat)
Then what seems to be light infantry... ?
