ETW Should i buy it

to say simply i want to buy ETW but have read about the so many probs it has. i simply want to no if they have been sorted out and if its worth me buying the game.

Plus any help with my problem with rometw patch download would be much appreciated as i love the game and have been trying to download the 1.3 patch for absalutly ages. i downloaded the 1.2 with no probs ages ago but 1.3 keeps coming up with this repair modify delete thing when i try and install it. and none of the options make it work.
as i said help would be much appreciated.

I own ETW and I regret it. It was, and still continues to be the worst TW entry to date due to many unfixed bugs and CAs decision to stop supporting this game.

I don't think you should buy ETW, but if you want it, at least get it on sale.

And yes, ETW is a good game, with some (many) bugs non-patched, but 1.5 is a great game. You should buy it. Also, NTw seems to be very very exciting, maybe more than ETW.

Hmm...you can buy the RTW Gold Edition if you want, it's only 15 euros and contains, RTW and Barbarian Invasion Expansion, fully patched.

What do you mean "keeps coming up". You can just d-load it from another site

ETW I wouldn't have purchased at release had I known the problems it would face, but it is a solid game now. Since NTW is based largely upon lessons learned from ETW in addition to new features, I feel I can actually buy it with some confidence.

if you expect challenging battles you shouldn't buy ETW.
