Character speed adjustment
Hi, I'd like to adjust character's speed. So I need to delete the file data/descr_character.txt (after backing it up) and then rename the file data/descr_character_FASTER.txt to data/descr_character.txt (the original)? Can someone confirm this please? Just to be sure...

Re: Character speed adjustment
Confirmed, though I'd recommend simply renaming the original descr_character.txt to something like descr_character_original.txt

I'm playing just normal 6.2. How can I adjust the character movement speed? I don't seem to have a data/descr_character_FASTER.txt file. I only have a data/descr_character.txt file.

first up do a backup copy of the descr_character.txt file, rename the copy descr_character_txtold.
(or whatever)
them open descr_character.txt file with notepad or notepad++
look for entries :
starting_action_points 100
for each of the character types.
that's the base amount - any bonuses or penalties are worked from there.
you then edit the values, you might like to try instead:
starting_action_points 120
once you've changed the values to your liking
(and generally when modding values like these do so in smallish increments)
save the file and see how it works.
