Indian campaign?

Would it be possible to make an Indian based campaign? I think that the AOR units they can recruit are pretty cool - but they are not too useful because the action is often so far away that the transport time is prohibitive. If their roster was fleshed out I think it would make for a very interesting Hindu/Buddhist based faction that could seriously rewrite history.

yea even i share this belief that an indian faction would definately make and impact and actually add a challenging empire with the eastern civilized society caz in current XC .... all eastern civilized nations are on troubled fronts i must say .... and none are actually able to take up power ......

Should be quite easy to mod - making the indian units available everywhere to Eastern Kingdoms and making the faction playable. Has anybody tried?
