Well, I've just started playing Rome Total War, once again, and was just fighting a battle in the imperial campaign mode, where I had the computer controlling my reinforcements (don't know if there is a way of controlling them yourself).
But I had engaged the battle, so I was the one who had to charge the oposing forces... so when my reinforcements had arrived and stood almost next to my own men I decided to start the fighting. But my reinforcement did nothing else than moving their units into a new battle position.. And as if that wasn't bad enough, when my men had been slaughtered because they where badly out numbered without any help from the AI, the AI still didn't want to engage the enemies, so I had to watch my reinforcement just looking at the gauls until the clock ran out...
I don't know if others have experienced anything like this before, I sure hasn't, as I rembered the last time I played, the AI controlled reinforcement would just kill of the reinforcement because they would charge my men into the oposition without any sense of strategy.
