Third Age on TV

No I didnt see Third Age mod on TV, but I did see Rome total war being used to visualize a famous Roman battle on the Military History Channel. It worked extremely well. It was definantly better than the ussual, blue dot is one side, red dot is other side, visualizeation most shows give. I was thinking that it would be cool if someone made a show explaining the history and lore of Tolkeins world, and the Third Age mod could be used to show historic battles.
Yeah this thread is pointless, and yeah Im bored. But you cant say you dont think it would be cool!

Yea, I watched that show too. I thought they stopped airing it though. They used Rome Total War, to show how hannibel kicked some Roman butt.

Though I'm sure King Kong could pitch it to some producers at the History Channel, nothing to lose

Heh I remember watching that show and thinking how awesome it would be if the game used in the show came out on PC. Had to upgrade my PC first before I could play it when it did come out.

There was another show other than Time Commanders that used it too, can't remember it though.

That was the other one that I was thinking of, it was a more recent series than Time Commanders and I think might still be aired now and again.

well i guess you are talking about Time Commanders, right.
indeed it is very awesome and it really would be great to see
something like that with the medieval 2 engine or even empire.
